What is Child Life?

The Child LIfe profession developed in the 1920’s and throughout the years has continued to grow to improve healthcare and difficult life experiences for children. Today, Certified Child Life Specialists are educated and clinically trained in child development, illness and hospitalization, grief and bereavement, and adverse childhood experiences. A Certified Child Life Specialist can help your child ...

"Megan came to my home to teach me infant massage when my daughter was 6-weeks-old. I was struggling with having a new baby who was particularly fussy due to colic. She walked me through all of the stroke sequences, encouraged me, and helped build my confidence in being a mom! After only a few days I could see an improvement in temperament and her sleep cycle improved to sleep 6 hours a night! I would highly recommend Megan. She is super knowledgeable and passionate about child development."
